Whether it’s vested interests, attachment to ‘business as usual’ or outrage at any limits to growth there are a range of political motivations including  greed behind AGW (anthropogenic global warming) denial.

Clearly a most pronounced and powerful political motivation is to be in the ‘good books’ of those with massive amounts of money, power and influence.
